So... I'm back from 5.5 weeks in Europe - What an awesome experience!!!!

And now I want to take more photos - if the 100s I took OS were not enough!

Oh, and an update on the previous note from June 2007... I ran the 14km City to Surf in 78 minutes and 55 seconds - and I raised over $500!

As you may know, this year I set the goal to run the City to Surf. So, on Sunday August 12th I will be taking the 14km journey from Sydney to Bondi for the first time!  And why not raise some money in the process.

My chosen charity is Twenty 10, supporting gay and lesbian youth, I hope to raise $200.

At the moment I can run 7km…. so I need to double my ability in 2 months… I am off to run around the block a few hundred times!

Tip of the day: Wear Sunscreen! Especially on the bits that stick out, nose, ears, and lips.

I was on holidays last week, on the Wednesday I went and had a skin cancer check...

I asked the doctor to look at two little spots that had appeared on my right ear… before I knew it the Basal Cell Carcinoma was being cut out of the edge of my ear, with 5 stitchers to close.

I didn't think I would be having my first skin cancer cut out at 26 years old.

Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most common skin cancer. It can be destructive and disfiguring. Risk is increased for individuals with a family history of the disease and a high cumulative exposure to UV light via sunlight or, in the past, carcinogenic chemicals especially arsenic.

Today I walked through Hyde Park and enjoyed the photography from Sydney Life.

Then I went to Pitt St Mall to practice some public photography.... I like street photography, so I need to build confidence.
