Tip of the day: Wear Sunscreen! Especially on the bits that stick out, nose, ears, and lips.
I was on holidays last week, on the Wednesday I went and had a skin cancer check...
I asked the doctor to look at two little spots that had appeared on my right ear… before I knew it the Basal Cell Carcinoma was being cut out of the edge of my ear, with 5 stitchers to close.
I didn't think I would be having my first skin cancer cut out at 26 years old.
What is a Basal Cell Carcinoma:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basal_ce… Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most common skin cancer. It can be destructive and disfiguring. Risk is increased for individuals with a family history of the disease and a high cumulative exposure to UV light via sunlight or, in the past, carcinogenic chemicals especially arsenic.
